2014年12月2日星期二，“海外名师”课堂如期在我校华天实训楼举行。美国弗罗斯特堡州立大学工商管理学院院长Tootoonchi教授此次课堂的内容是领导者的钻石理论。Tootoonchi教授以领导者的钻石理论为主题，列举了九个令领导者成功的方法。这九个关键点分别是：personal responsibility；the true meaning of business is not making money；the two sides of organizations；the importance of the personal side；extraordinary goals are achieved through teamwork；transformation in thoughts followed by a change in behaviour；apply the transformation in thoughts and behave to all aspects of your life；authentic leadership means empowering others around you；authentic leadership means commitment to greatness。在讲述目标实现需要团体合作时，他还强调了每个人发展进步时的转变，从小时候的不独立到年轻时期独立却以我为中心到独立且会为他人着想。同学们相当珍惜这次来之不易的学习交流机会，积极与Tootoonchi教授互动，踊跃发言，展现出我校旅游学院学子的独特风采。

即使是在全英文授课的情况下，课堂的气氛十分活跃，同学都被教授精彩的演说吸引了，整个过程非常配合。
